Would you still recommend high volume accessory work to be added in such cases? Do you think running something like bulgarian light includes enough volume for max strength gains? Curious about your thoughts on this. 4:22 Coach, can a caloric deficit impede recovering from injuries? I’ve had a nagging lower back injury and some sort of strain in my left forearm from weighted chins 3 times a week. Wasn’t doing anything dumb or beyond what I was capable of, just overuse injuries I suppose. I’ve been dieting for 4-5 months now, down 30 pounds body weight, and had these injuries the entire time but I’m wondering if the caloric deficit could significantly affect recovering from these injuries or not. Thanks! 7:28 Ive finished my meet 2 days ago with a 12.5kg addition to my total. What / how would you suggest i approach getting back to training after a meet??
