Practice these stretches every day, and you\'ll soon be on your way.  I remember when I was about nine with a friend of mine, before I started doing Ballet but already in my Gymnastic training, we both after school pushed each other\'s legs as far as we could get. Maybe finding a good partner is the best kick-starter after all.  Then go slowly, each day a little further. Start with one leg open to keep balance. Bring your legs together and then little by little hold them apart. Each day increasing in reaching a bit forward. Make sure you have some support like a bar that you can grab while progressing in deeper into the stretch. And the most important part you shall not miss: Have fun!  For this asana also called \"monkey\'s pose\" or hanumanasana, and with the challenge of handstand position, you will need to train a little harder.
