'Exercise Index Barbell Squat'

'Exercise index Barbell Squat Target muscle quadriceps and glutes   Step in under the bar. Place the bar comfortably on your upper back. Hand placement may vary from person to person. Now that the bar is in a secure position un-rack the bar and take a confident step backwards. Stand with your feet shoulder width apart and point your toes slightly outwards. Take a deep breath at the top and hold that breath you squat down and come back up then release that breath. This helps create more stability between your lower and upper body. Descend in a controlled manner and make sure to track your knees in line with your toes. As you descend you will feel the compression increase in your quads and glutes. Drive yourself back up once the crease of your hips goes past the level of your knees.
