You\'ve been hyping up the intermediate\'s upper/lower split for a while, but what about full body for the intermediate lifter? Pros and cons? 4:46 G\'Day Mate, Studies show that protein synthesis lasts from 28-48 hrs. If I am doing an upper/lower split, I hit those muscles every 72hrs. You stated that it is possible to restart protein synthesis quite easily. How little do you actually have to do? Can it be done at the end of a lower/upper session, or in reality, that extra 24hrs won\'t make much of a difference?
