'0:07 I\'ve got degenerative disc was told not to lift due to back pain 10yrs ago. Now I\'ve got anxiety to put weight on the bar. I\'m afraid to attempt a 1rep max on squat and conventional dead lift but not on sumo. What advice would you give me to get past this fear of back injury and drop my reps down to 3 and maybe attempt 1 rep max on back squat or just play it safe and stay with a lighter weight and more reps like I\'ve been doing? I feel like my back squat is lagging and would like to hit some bigger numbers but don\'t want to end up like Ronnie Colman in 10yrs. 2:25 Hey coach, you corrected your old misinformation that lifting heavy doesn\'t maximize muscle growth.
