'Fitness guru Richard Simmons will not be finessed!  Richard Simmons is suing a private investigator who placed a tracking device on his caretaker\'s car in order to see if there was any truth to those gender transition rumors.  Richard Simmons disappearance from the spotlight since 2014 has been a topic of conversation for years now and a range of rumors have been attributed as the reason why.  He is now suing P.I. Scott Brian Mathews who planted the device on caretaker Teresa Reveles\' car through a device leased from Live View GPS.  The lawsuit states:  \"Since early 2014, Mr. Simmons has taken a leave of absence from the media spotlight in order to retreat from his 40-year career in television, fitness and other arenas of entertainment. Mr. Simmons has been purposefully avoiding public attention.”  It also highlights that Teresa and Richard \"have suffered significant mental anguish” including “anxiety, feelings of powerlessness, frustration and humiliation\" since discovering the device.'
