'The US Army Fitness Test - Can a 9 year old kid pass?'

'The challenge is out! Can I pass the US Army Physical Fitness Test - to the standard of the age group closest to 9 years old? The United States Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) comprises of two minutes of pushups, two minutes of situps, and a two-mile (about 3.2km) run. The standard to be met depends on age, but the lowest age group (and closest to my age) is 17-21 as the army does not seem to recruit 9 year-old kids. The bad news is that this is also the toughest standard to aim for - for a Male, 17-21 years old the minimum passing standard is: - 42 pushups in 2 minutes - 53 situps in 2 minutes - 2 miles in 15 minutes and 54 seconds So, that is the standard I will aim for.
