'Can you pass the Army Fitness Test?'

'Could you pass the US Army’s physical fitness test? Consisting of six tests, the APFT is designed to test the strength, endurance, and cardiovascular fitness of soldiers in the US Army. First is the maximum deadlift, where trainees must lift the maximum weight they are able to three consecutive times. Next is the standing power throw, in which trainees throw a ten pound medicine ball backwards and overhead a minimum distance of six meters. Third is the simpler hand-release push-up, where trainees complete as many push-ups as possible in 2 minutes, but must do at least 10. Fourth is the sprint-drag-carry, a 5x50 meter timed shuttle where they carry two 40 pound kettlebells or push a 90 pound sled and must finish in under 2 and a half minutes. Fifth is the plank, where trainees must maintain a proper plank position for as long as possible, but for at least a minute and a half. Finally, there is the 2 mile run, with a maximum passing time of 22 minutes. Would you make the cut? #themilitaryshow #shorts'
