Subscribe to my channel for more pregnancy postpartum & female fitness related videos I am going to explain to you how to exercise & progress in pregnancy. If you were training before you were pregnant, you can absolutely continue now that you’re pregnant (while listening to your body, of course). If you were not training before pregnancy, you should be exercising at a low-to-moderate intensity throughout pregnancy. To make sure that you are exercising appropriately during pregnancy, listen to your body. Whether you were or not training before the pregnancy, make sure your doctor has cleared you for exercise before you start. • Always perform exercises that are appropriate for your current abilities, if you find any exercises uncomfortable or causing pain, please let me know, I can adjust any training plan to your needs & abilities. • Practice safety first and use good movement patterns. (Remember you can find a demo of every exercise in the VIDEO LIBRARY • Progress through exercises and their variations appropriately as you get stronger and take a step back with a regression if your needs change. • Try to continually challenge yourself through the whole process. • Strive to get the best results with the least amount of effort. • The main goals are to help you get stronger or maintain your strength, improve your alignment, prepare your core and pelvic floor for the stressors that accompany pregnancy and postpartum, and recover as quickly and healthfully as possible. You may sometimes want or need to make adjustments or substitutions for exercises in the program based on preference, ability level, or equipment availability. This is OK, just contact me for advice so that when you’re making adjustments and substitutions you understand how to make them appropriately.'
