Here\'s some squats I do regularly on quad focussed leg days  1: Heavy squats- 80kg (176 lbs) 5 sets of 5-8 reps 2: Elevated heel smith squats with a 4-5 second negative and not alowing the knees to lockout at the top therefore maintaining constant tension on the quads. 40kg (88 lbs ) 8-10 reps x 4 sets 3: front squat on smith machine- squeezing the quads as hard as I can at the top and not alowing knee lockout 30-50 kg (66-110 lbs) 8-12 reps x 4 sets  I elevate my heels because for me it feels more comfortable and alows me to target quads more. I have long legs and a short torso with lordosis so Biomechanically cant stay completely upright on a squat, the wedge below my feet helps with this and relieves pressure from my lordosis. Eventually I will get squat shoes which have an elevated heel built in them, but for now I will continue to do what feels most comfotable for ME and MY body.   ★ U wanna more vids?
